Amino Dosing is very important for the survival of some types of Buttons.
this is an example what happened to the orange buttons before i dosed amino's

after slow degeneration the whole colony was completely reduced , which left me with 2 clusters of 3 and 5 buttons.
These were in bad shape and were closed all the time
i cut is out of the big rock and glued it onto a small frag stone and stared dosing amino's
after one week amino's dosing a saw full polyp extension

Mijn buttons staan er redelijk goed bij, maar veel groei zit er niet in.
Moet ik dan meer doseren?
Ik geef sinds 2/3 maanden 2 ml amino op de 218 liter.
When doseing aminos is it best to dose a mixed amino or just asorbic acid (vitimin C) ?
By experimenting i found out that a mix does the trick.

What concentration and how frequent should i dose?
I have mixed 15g asorbic acid with 50g RO and i'm currently dosing 3 drops per day. tank water volume is 300l

i really can't tell because i use a special blend and revealing the source is no option.
I guess there are enough articles on internet where you can find how to mix you own diy vitamine C and what to dose.

The dosing of amino and all other organic stuff need to be done only in case of "deficiency". When all your buttons and corals are flourishing you don't need it. This means they get enough alternative nutrients.
Dosing amino (and other nutrients) in a system that is doing very well, or which has just been setup (with very little consumers) will only fuel problems like problems like algae, dino's and Cyano.
Amino's is a finetune product..
Only dose amino's when all other water values are within check.
Dosing amino's in a system with stability problems wil only cause more problem.

Amino's (en ander nutrients) doseren in een systeem waar alle buttons het prima doen, of net opgestart is (met weinig verbruiker) leidt alleen to overshotten en problemen zoals algen, dino's en cyano.

Amino's dienen alleen gedoseerd te worden in en systeem, waar alle waarden perfect staat .
Heb je problemen met andere waarden op peil houden, dan is amino's doseren niet aan de orde en zelfs uit den boze.

Een combinatie van Amino's en Vitamine-C t.b.v. stagnerende zoanthus species.
Volg de adviesdosering en let daarbij op dat er zich geen bruine aanslag ontwikkeld op het zand en de opbouw. indien dat het geval is de dosering steeds halveren. Eventueel mag bij uitblijvend resultaat de dosering en frequntie verhoogd worden, waarbij er de bruine aanslag vermeden dient te worden.
