Use a 5% NaOH solution:
Mix 5gram NaOH pellets with 100ml RO water
When dissolving the NaOH pellets in water  there will be some heat developed, so don't use plastic cups.

Be careful the NaOH solution is caustic (PH=14) and will cause burn marks.
When  come in contact with your skin rinse with lots of water. Work clean and don't spill on floor and corals
use a turkey baster to remove spills on corals

Update(3/5/17): Syphon the spils and white blanket with a 4mm pipe and hose.

Waarschuwing: Geen gootsteen ontstopper producten gebruiken! Deze bevatten onbekende werkzame delen!

Hi Glenn

Can this be used for getting rid of Pulsing Xenia as well? Will this method have any other side effects of the rest of the tank/corals/fish? My tank is 500 litres

Yes, first use a scissor to cut off the  top. Than you can inject the residue with the NaOH Solution.
It has a slight rise in PH but if you watch i closely you can prevent this rising to high.
